About Me

My teaching philosophy is centered on fostering conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving among students. As an Assistant Professor at Dayananda Sagar University, I aim to create a learner-centered environment where students are encouraged to explore, question, and innovate. I integrate real-world applications, coding practices, and research exposure into my teaching to bridge the gap between theory and practice. My research interests lie in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning, with a focus on building intelligent systems that address real-world challenges. My work includes projects on medical data analysis, predictive modeling, and smart surveillance systems using computer vision. I am particularly interested in improving model performance, scalability, and interpretability, and I aim to contribute to interdisciplinary and impactful research in AI-driven domains. My long-term goal is to advance research while mentoring students to become skilled professionals and researchers in the field of computer science.

Research

My research focuses on applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to real-world problems in security and healthcare. I have published a paper on user authentication using ASCII art generation, and my dissertation explores medical image analysis using deep learning. My work aims to develop efficient and practical intelligent systems.

Bio

Nafees Raza is an Assistant Professor at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. He completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University with a strong academic record and has qualified both GATE 2025 and the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the Ph.D. category. His research interests include intelligent systems, medical image analysis using deep learning, and secure authentication techniques. He has published research on user authentication using ASCII art generation and has worked on projects involving predictive modeling, computer vision, and smart surveillance systems. Prior to his academic role, he served as a Subject Matter Expert, contributing to academic content development and mentoring students globally. He is passionate about research-driven teaching and aims to develop innovative, real-world AI solutions while inspiring students to pursue excellence in technology and research.
